Finished your book last night. What a great read! The usual historical novels dealing with World War II tell about the battles or the holocaust. “Echoes” tells us about “common folk” that just happen to be in geographical zones where that conflict is occurring. It opened my eyes telling me that although most history books tell us that WWII ended in 1945, the Russian occupied territory continued to be a “Hell on Earth” for the people who lived in those areas. I hope the “Big Screen” realizes what a great movie this would be. Nice job, Rudy!
